For this assignment, you will act as a consultant that was hired by organization ABC (of your choice). As a consultant that retains an extensive background in Organizational Behavior, you have been tasked by the contracting organization to develop a proposal for an organizational retention and motivation action plan due to the high attrition rates and declining motivation currently occurring at the organization.

Your proposal is required to be submitted as a 10-14 page Word document, APA format is required. Title page and reference page are not counted in the 10-14 page count requirement.

Introduction

Among the many factors employed by many companies and corporate organizations is employee retention and motivation. However, and at the same time, corporate organizations fail to motivate their employees and personnel thus leading the employees not fully applying their potential abilities in the service of the organization. What follows after such mismanagement is the organizations failing to retain its employees whereby, the employees move to better jobs where they get to grow their careers. As such, employee motivation is an imperative action for all corporate and non – corporate enterprises in maintaining a high rate of motivation.
