American has taken various steps to promote its national interests and security as well. America’s foreign policy refers to the strategy that guides the country in forming relationships with other countries. Since America interacts with over two hundred countries in the world, it must develop strategies that help to protect their territories. Looking at the U.S Department of State’s website, you will see a variety of foreign policy issues that the department has outlined.
