Assessment and Interventions in Mental Health
So far we have been introduced to the concepts of mental health and abnormality. In
Modules 2 & 3 we reviewed two of the components to mental health – biology and
development. For this assignment pick one idea from each module (2 &3) and expand on
the relationship between that idea and abnormality. For example, if you choose
teratogens, from our developmental readings, first define what teratogens are, then
describe how their exposure may lead to abnormal development. Further explain that in
terms of the general impact on one’s mental health.
