A visual artist is an individual who creates different forms of art such as ceramics, paintings, drawings, architecture, filmmaking, video, photography, and sculptures. There are many visual artists from the past and the present that have had a great impact on the visual arts discipline. Some of their contributions are testament to the progress that has been observed within the industry. The visual artist that I identified for this essay is Pablo Picasso. The main reason that I chose this artist is because, I have read a lot about him in books and watched movies that were inspired by his contributions to the field of visual arts.
