My name is l, I am majoring in Computer Engineering. In my home country, I was working in the computer and network field. After I moved to the United States from Iraq (3 years ago), I couldn’t obtain the same job here. Employers typically prefer work experience within the US, and certifications outside of the US usually don’t transfer. I had to start the computer course all again. In order to fulfill my career aspiration, I have to learn about both hardware and software aspects. Students who are interested in problem solving, logic, abstract logical composition, communication ability, and cooperativity and who are interested in human thinking patterns, electronic devices, robotics, mathematics, and music are suitable for learning in this field.
To share a little about myself, I am a wife and a mother of two children who I love more than anything. (My husband always smiles when I say that). Balancing motherhood and studies has not been easy for me but anytime I feel like losing up, I get new energized by the thought that by completing the course and getting a certification, I will be able to discharge my duties and responsibilities as a mother and wife effectively. I feel that it is important for me to set a great example for my children. When they see me studying and achieving my educational goals, they will know that hard work and education lead to success.
I decided to do this course alongside my major course because it will
help me sharpen my communication and interpersonal skills. Students
