Museum Exhibit Project – Subject Identification and Wikipedia Entry
1. Who or what will be the subject of your museum exhibit?
2. Why did you choose this subject?
3. Look up your subject on Wikipedia. Read the entire entry on Wikipedia. Write a two-paragraph summary of the subject. The first paragraph should explain what you thought you knew about the person before looking them up on Wikipedia and what you learned from Wikipedia. The second paragraph explains the two very most interesting facts that you learned from the Wikipedia page. Why were these facts interesting?
4. Go to the UML Library website (https://www.uml.edu/library/). Select “Databases” in the left navigation and find the Credo Reference link. Look up your subject and read the entry. Did you learn anything new? Did anything different from the Wikipedia entry? What do you think provided better information, Wikipedia or Credo, and why? Were further resources that you would like to explore?
5. Ifa librarian was sitting next to you what would you ask him/her? Do you have any questions about doing further research that a librarian could help with?
