Write a post where you pick one or two parts of the declaration that you think are linked to our course.
While the Fourth of July holiday doesn’t exactly align with our content for the week, it is worth looking at the Declaration of Independence and how it relates to privacy. I realize the document is old and some of the language is elevated/stodgy. However, you should be able to grasp the essential meaning.
After reading through the declaration, note the parts that you think relate to our class theme in some way (space, privacy, property, surveillance, celebrity, etc.).
Write a post where you pick one or two parts of the declaration that you think are linked to our course. Discuss why.
Then discuss how you think the document itself relates to our current society/government.
