The Romantic Era Themes

Romanticism was the era that featured crucial events in Europe ranging from the late 18th to the early 19th Century. Characterized by rapid social and economic changes, the romantic period gave rise to several themes that related to the individuals at that time. Naturalism received a great emphasis as civilization brought about issues that greatly affected people’s lives. As a way to survive in the transformed society, people also lost their individualism concepts as they worked through life to achieve success and greatness. Naturalism and individualism are great ideas from the Romantic era that defined the way of life during that period as well as the contemporary society.
