EEOC

The EEOC, also referred to or known as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is an agency in the U.S. that enforces and administers the various civil rights laws that relate to the workplace. These are rights that should be accorded to employees as they go on their daily activities and duties at their place of work (Humphreys, 2013). The commission investigates various violations that may take place in the places of work in regards to discrimination based on gender, age, nation of origin, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other differences that differentiate people from one another.
