In January 1942, President Roosevelt delivered America’s voice for democracy through his speech about the four freedoms. He identified these freedoms as; freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear. Roosevelt declared these freedoms as the basis of a new moral order and that it was a must for these freedoms to prevail in every part of the world.
