Social Development Implications

Introduction

Immediately after birth, children start to develop numerous skills that are supposed to aid them in their learning and development. During this stage of development, many disabilities may be observed among certain children that may inhibit their social development especially when they are around their peers. As a result, it is imperative to understand some of the prevalent disabilities that can be observed so as to develop strategies that ensure that their learning and development is not affected. The aim of this essay is to identify three prevalent disabilities that affect children in the age three group and identify how such disabilities may affect the learner’s information processing. The paper will also address the role of the care-giver towards optimizing the achievement and efficacy of the learner. Care-givers here refers to teachers, guardians, and parents who are always around children.
