5) Provide an analysis of the deviant behavior from the perspective of ONE OR MORE of the sociological theories on deviance set out in the text and discussed in lectures.

Deviant behavior refers to engaging in actions that may create problems and do not conform to social and behavioral norms. People make choices some that are good or negative which either affect them negatively or positively (Clinard, & Meier,2015). It is the adverse effects that make drug addiction a deviant behavior.
