Technology has significantly changed the way that emergencies and disasters are managed. However, many have claimed that technology is not the ultimate answer to all of the problems that exist, and some have gone as far as to say that the increased reliance on technology builds weaknesses into the systems that exist.
Use this forum to voice your opinion on the benefits that have been gained through advancements in emergency management technology (using examples), and state whether or not you feel that that there is too much reliance on technology today.
