Errors to Avoid in a Business Letter
In any given workplace, dozens of business letters need to be written to clients, suppliers, consultants, and colleagues. Writing business letters is different from other types of personal letters due to the nature of the business, laws, and image of the company to the public. There are many types of errors that are commonly committed in business letters. Some of the major errors that may occur in business letters include typos, grammatical errors, punctuation errors, and wrong choice of words, long words, failing to make an impression, too much text, complex sentences, and poor planning (Merrier, 2016). These errors can lead to misinformation between the firm and the receivers.
