Task – 2
Scenario:
You are required to prepare a Fire Protection report demonstrating the design of both the clean agent system & Sprinkler systems for TWO areas mentioned in the appended floor plan. The floor plan consist of Two areas/ occupancies.
Further to this, you need to write a brief report on other needed fire protection systems used in a building in general with its basic design consideration.
Important Notes:
- For measuring the dimensions of the floor plan print the attached on A4 paper & choose the appropriate scale indicated against your name given in the appendix.
- You must resent the full design calculation for the sprinkler system & clean agent system, with all the following features included.
-Total No. of sprinklers in the assigned room, show hydraulically remote area, Total water demand, pressure loss calculation for all sprinklers on last range pipe including flow and pressure required at each sprinkler head.
-Basic quantity of CO2 & Additional Quantity required to make up for enclosable opening & size of vent required to extract CO2 after its use.
Please Focus on the Following Points:

It is foam, water, Co2 … etc.
You talk about the types + something called a key design factor for each type of them
Task 2: There will be all accounts, and there is a luxurious table of assessments specified for you. What is the material you are making + which room and what kind of risks?

And after what other systems can we install in the building, and on what basis do we settle their accounts
