Human Growth and Development

Human development is always a result of interaction between genetic and environmental factors. The genetic factors sum up what scholars would term as nature, while the external factors constitute nurture (Berger, 2016). Consequently, the environment in which one grows up interacts with his or her genetic composition to determine how he would react when exposed to certain environmental conditions. For instance, one may have a short temper as a result of his or her genetic predisposition, but consequent nurturing could help reduce such responses to the extent of completely eradicating the issue.
