here is what she wrote, Basing it on Uber, the company has a wide range of IT infrastructure. From the company headquarters to the customer/consumer, there is bound to be an IT infrastructure involved. But mainly, I think their company consists of wireless infrastructure. The trend that Uber has set up has been very dynamic that other companies have started to follow suit. Their strategy to provide a cab or transportation service with the click of your finger has been truly a success. Their wireless infrastructure paved the way for consumers to access their service. Although their business model is old – meaning they provide car rides and takes the person to their destination which is basically what any other transportation service or commuting service does, their advantage is that customers get to book that ride through a wireless connection, a phone, and the application or app. The business has grown massively throughout the country and even globally. However, according to research, Uber still needs to achieve a couple of infrastructures to update and make their interfaces and infrastructures more functionable. According to Wagner, that Dustzadeh, Uber’s head of global network and software platform, said “Uber needs to achieve near-real-time visibility into infrastructure, using programmatic interfaces to push desired state of infrastructure with assistance from artificial intelligence and machine learning.”
Comparing it to the company of my choice, which I based on some of Uber’s, it goes to show that the wireless infrastructure can reach a wider market for as long as it is available. The speed and security may not be as good as that of a wired connection, but the company has security measures that prevent others from getting information that are not for the public. Cybersecurity is one of the most sought-after software or designs these days which is why companies invest in those things. They try their best to protect their database as well as the customer’s privacy.
