Assignment:
For this third part of the Scholar-Practitioner Project (SPP), you will design a system-level intervention to address the public health issue and leadership need previously identified. You will describe the proposed intervention and explain how the intervention incorporates systems thinking approach. You will also identify the common elements of the system to effectively research, design, and implement the proposed intervention. In addition, you will foresee plausible barriers to implementing your intervention and recommend strategies to overcome these challenges.
In a 3- to 4-page paper (not including title page and references):
A: Design a system-level intervention to address the public health issue and leadership need
• Describe a system-level intervention to address the public health issue and leadership need that you identified in Part 1 of the SPP, stating the intervention goals and how they will address the public health issue.
• Explain how the intervention incorporates systems thinking approach.
• Analyze common elements of the system associated with addressing the leadership need, including which entities (e.g., stakeholders, target populations) you might involve and why.
B: Addressing potential challenges
• Explain anticipated challenges associated with your intervention.
• Recommend three strategies to overcome these anticipated challenges.
