Write a 3-5 page paper based on the guidelines found in the syllabus and Rubric

Write a 3-5 page paper based on the guidelines found in the syllabus and Rubric. The paper must be in MLA format without a title page. I’m mostly concerned with Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced font, with MLA headers (page numbers and last name), and a title (but not a title page). Works Cited should be used on any outside sources, such as a painting, or movie, and the textbook should be on there as well. Any textbook quotes should have the page numbers in in-text citations. The Works Cited page does not contribute to length requirement.

To elaborate on the paper requirements, you can talk about today’s social issues and how the movie/art piece/event handles/compares/illustrates them, but you can also go more emotional. For example, one student from a previous class of mine was analyzing a film called The Witch, and talked about how her own personal religious doubts were a huge issue in her family, and she was able to connect with the protagonist in the movie from the same struggle.

The paper is due by Sunday, 5/3 midnight. Extensions cannot be given due to Final Grade deadlines. If you’d like to ask for a peer review from your classmates, you can post a rough draft in this Discussion Forum. Be mindful of time; do not expect to post a rough draft on May 2 and get a peer review by May 3. You can also email your paper to tutor1@sinclair.edu for a professional tutor to review.

The submission dropbox is enabled with plagiarism-checking software. Please see the syllabus for further information on what counts as plagiarism.
