Each team should describe how the various sectors
Today’s industry is increasingly illustrative of the importance of supporting the “ecosystem” of the industry. (Let’s look back to Week 1 – the industry is not necessarily dominated by the recorded music sector today.)
Let’s dig in and examine how music industry leaders from different sectors can find common ground and work together for the betterment of the industry as a whole.
Each team should describe how the various sectors (publishing, live, recorded music, artist management, merchandising, branding, new media, marketing & pr, artist development, etc.) can work together, negotiate and find common ground in furthering the interests of the music industry as a whole (while still staying true to their individual fiduciary and leadership responsibilities – for example to their companies, investors, employees, shareholders, stakeholders, etc.)
(Simply put – how can we all work together for the sustainability and viability of the music industry?!)
