Interview- Race in other countries
This assignment requires you to interview someone from a different country. The goal is to explore what race means in their home country versus what it means in the United States. Provide background information on their home country by conducting additional research. Write a four-page paper that compares and contrasts race in the two places, incorporating your interviewee’s experiences. For example, what is the dominant group, and which ethnic or racial groups are considered subordinate? How has your interviewee experienced race in the two countries? Were they surprised at the differences between their home country and the United States? How does the information you have learned relate to information in the text?
Your assignment is to be a minimum of four pages and must include references to information found in the textbook. Any outside sources must be appropriately cited.
