Read the chapter on AfricanAmericans in your text book. It is chapter 7 in the 14th edition but it may be different if you are using an older edition.

- What is your understanding of Affirmative Action? What is your opinion of Affirmative Action? Please discuss the pros and cons of Affirmative Action. You may include any personal experiences you’ve had or those of other people you know. This requires a minimum of 2 paragraphs.
- Answer questions #3, #5, and #7 in the Review Question section at the end of yur chapter. Also answer # 3 in the Critical Thinking section at the end of your chapter.
