Mobility within any organization is often dependent on the principles set within the said company. However, some companies make an effort to ensure that there is no absolute end to the mobility within a company. Most importantly, innovation-oriented companies have different approaches to mobility. The parallel tracks approach ensures that employees not only have the necessary qualifications for technical responsibilities but are also well versed in managerial responsibilities (Rima & Islam, 2013). Ultimately, they would be in a position to take on different responsibilities whenever an opportunity arises.
