Materials:
Use the Module 1 Required Readings in your textbook and the Module 1 Required Online Exploration as your guides.

Instructions:
1. Write a new thread of at least 150 words, in which you:

a. describe “The Humanities” in your own words and understanding
b. identify at least three distinct subject areas in “The Humanities”

2. Write replies of at least 50 words per reply (total of 100 words) to at least two different classmates, in which you:

a. explain how “beauty” and “aesthetic experience” apply to the subject areas cited by your classmate.

What is Humanities?

Humanities is a wide academic discipline that delves into some of the major aspects of culture and human society (Nealon, & Giroux, 2012). Today, humanities is associated with various social sciences that delve into various aspect of humanity and also includes professional training about some of the major subjects and modules that are discussed within the module.
