Happiness

Different people have varied explanations of happiness. While some may indicate that access to whatever they need determines an individual’s contentment, and therefore happiness, there are others who view happiness as a result of personal contentment with whatever they have. Additionally, one could view joy and happiness as resulting from one’s perception of issues, in which a positive mindset under strenuous conditions could result to higher levels of joy than in cases of discontentment, even with significant access to vast resources. Nonetheless, all these different perceptions follow a worldly view of joy and happiness, which significantly deviates from the Biblical perspective of the same concept.
