In this Seminar, you will examine the alignment of principles of early childhood funding development and financial planning with program philosophy, vision, mission, and goals.

Please review the websites of the two non-profit early childhood organizations provided: The National Head Start Association and Catholic Charities USA.

Please come to seminar prepared to discuss the following:

Describe the philosophy, mission, vision, and goal of Head Start and Catholic Charities.
What kind of network do they have in place to carry out their work?
What types of funding strategies are in place?
How do the funding strategies specifically support the philosophy, mission, vision, and goals of each organization researched?
Why is important to include testimonial or success stories on the organizations’ websites?
Besides funding, what are some ways to be involved in supporting the programs’ mission and goals?
