You may find it easier to approach this assignment by first listing any themes, motifs, and symbols you find in the pages you selected. From there, work to address that list one by one.

Literary Analysis of ‘The Story of an Hour’
Kate Chopin was one of the most celebrated authors in the 19th century. She broke all odds to raise the voice against feminism at a time when men dominated the society. Kate Chopin wrote two novels and hundreds of short stories that aimed at revealing the oppression of women in the then society, and she eventually found a way for their liberation. ‘The Story of an Hour’ is one of the short stories that Kate Chopin wrote with a strong focus on feminism.
