Cold War
The Cold War was a stage of political tension that was experienced in the years following World War II. It was experienced between allies of the Eastern Bloc and those of the Western Bloc. The timeframe of the war was between 1947 and the signing of the Truman Doctrine by the United States where it proposed to help states or nations that were affected by Soviet Expansionism. The expansionism was supposed to increase the influence of Soviet Union across Europe.
