Critical race theory (CTR) offers a context for probing power systems that uphold racial biases and emerging strategies for change and action. Though social work recognizes racial disparities and the racism role when categorizing and trying to perfect social problems, the corporation has not completely merged CRT. According to Brown (2003), CTR identifies that racism is deeply entrenched in a fabric and the American social system. The sole racist should not exist to note that organizational racism is prevalent in the dominant culture. However, this is the logical lens that is used by CRT to examine the current power structures. Additionally, CRT recognizes that these structures of power are founded on white privilege and supremacy that disseminates the relegation of people of color.
