Gay Liberation Front

In New York City back in 1969, several gay liberation groups came together and Gay Liberation Front (GLF) became their collective name. People in the Gay Liberation Front were in a quest for sexual liberation of all people as it was their belief that heterosexuality was a residue of cultural inhibition. As such, it was their feeling that change would never occur not unless the social institutions were done away with and given a new different definition without any distinct sexual roles.
