Political cartoons are most of the time used to portray information about some form of political issues that are usually ongoing within a country or a society. Most of the time the cartoons are frequently sarcastic as its intention is usually to pass across a political message and opinion (Philippe, 1982). In this particular cartoon, we find that it shows that the two cultures did not have good relationships. On the one hand we have the whites who were embracing civilization, and on the other hand, there is the Chinese who believed in their customs and traditions of communism.
