Historically, gender inequality started by dividing duties among the cavemen. Socially, women were regarded as inferior to men. This idea was productive because a woman was meant to produce and care for children. This led to a myth that; women were unable to do any duties, viewed as fragile and was never allocated to perform heavy tasks such as hunting (Ernestine, 1978).
