How is Shinto similar and different from Daoism?

Shinto and Daoism are similar in that they both worship multiple Gods and they conduct rituals and religious rites in a similar manner. They share respect for nature whereby Shintoism, refers to the respect and worship of the Kami spirits which inhibits the natural things while Daoism mainly focuses on the worship of various gods among them were the Chinese religion or others who were people at one time and did a significant thing in the society or people who were associated with performing miracles before their deaths. Shintoism mainly emphases on folk spirits but these are natural spirits instead of the gods and heroes of Chinese as in the case of Daoism.
