The Monkey’s Paw is a short story that is based on a paranormal tier, written by W.W. Jacobs focusing on the three wishes granted to the owner of the Monkey Paw. Notably, the Monkey Paw interferes by way of fate, making the wisher not to have wished for the specific deed to occur. One wish made by Mr. and Mrs. White is two hundred pounds to pay for their house mortgage. The subsequent desire made was for their son Herbert White to arise from the dead since he passed away as a result of the two hundred pounds.
