An Argument on the Gun Control Controversy in America
Introduction
Gun control quickly adopts the conception of a controversial political and social question whenever the issue is discussed. The rationale for such a conception is that guns are both a menace in terms of violence and deaths yet guns are also needed for the maintenance of order and for protecting citizens from violent deaths. Essentially, the question that emerges is whether the public should be allowed to possess guns for their safety or whether such a scenario increases the vulnerability to gun related insecurity and violence. However, gun possession continues to be legal although there are several regulations that work to control how and which individuals are able to own guns in America (Spitzer, 2017). The regulations tend to vary from state to state while the federal regulations work to enforce gun control regardless of state. As such, it is common that some states will have either the federal or state regulations being stricter with regards to gun possession.
