The Huwaiian feather helmet is one of the most recognized aspects of the community or rather of the region and the reason for this is that it has a great significance to the people of the community and represents something that is not easily notable in other communities. The helmet is very important for it represents the aspect of respect in the community for the chief. When the chief wore this helmet, it meant that there was a rather important ceremony that he was presiding over. In addition, the chief wore this helmet in case there was a war to go through and this is essential in the modern environment to show some sense of authority from the chief.
