Introduction
Slickwater hydraulic fracturing which is also known as hydrofracking is the process of using water with a mixture of suspended sand to crack rocks beneath the earth surface purposely to drill out natural gas, petroleum or other liquid minerals. In this process, a well is first drilled then the water is put under high pressure then it is directed to the well. Therefore because of the high pressure of the water, it causes cracking of rocks and finds its way to the storage wells of the natural gas and other minerals.
