Article: Knowledge of the professional role of others: A key interprofessional competency (Mac Donald article)

Let’s imagine that you are treating Mrs. Simmons as a Support Service Provider, and you notice a big change in her mood and affect. She has been getting remarkably more depressed during your sessions.   She does not want to engage in her ADL’s or IADL’s,  How could you use one or more of the key competencies needed with regard to roles on an interprofessional team to connect with other professionals who might need to know?  Consider OT’s scope of practice (posted),  and relate what you come up with to the key competencies or the strengths and barriers in one of the two articles you just reviewed.

Please mention which article you use by the first author; the MacDonald article
