Introduction

Personality traits have been a subject discussed by various scientist and researchers and have been classified into different categories by various scientists. In the early times, they were classified into broader personality traits but with time and further research, broken down into more acceptable personality traits.  Earnest & Raymond (1958) advanced the big five personality traits. The big five personality trait include; Openness, Conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness, and neurotism.

These personalities, are not precise, that is to say, a person can be a high level of openness or a low level of openness. A personality trait has two extremes, most people lie between the two extremes. Each of the traits has an influence on a person’s job performance and relation to others.
