How does the book of Job’s approach to the problem of evil, and in particular the idea that bad things happen to good people (and good things happen to bad people), enlighten our idea of the hero? Pick a hero from a modern source-novel, movie, etc.- which Job might shed light on.

most people seek a predictable result that confirms the good guy will win. book of job problem of evil, there’s natural evil: volcanoes, diseases, old age. natural evils are directed by satan, allowed by an all knowing, all loving, merciful God. this issue a very important, how does this shed light on our notion of the hero? maybe someone as a result of suffering, understands more about the world. choose a character whos good humble and enormous ordeals and horrible things happen to them even though they dont deserve it. they have to stay faithful and eventually succeed
