In American society today there are a number of groups that are vulnerable or
disenfranchised. Some include:
– the homeless,
– those struggling with addiction or alcoholism,
– incarcerated and/or ex-offenders,
– mental illness,
– children,
– the elderly,
– the poor, or
– women and families struggling with family violence.
Choose one of the above groups and then discuss these questions:
- Why did you choose the group you did?
- What makes this group so vulnerable?
