For my second interview, I chose to highlight a lesser known youthful entrepreneur, who owns his own contracting company for the US government. Mr. Henderson is a very young, savvy, and adroit entrepreneur. Michael started his own business four years ago, after he worked for several other government contractors, “mastered” his job, and studied how the system of government contractual bidding worked. His experiences in contracting peaked my interest due to the ambiguity of doing business with the US government.

Further research indicated that, “Private entities now provide many services that were once provided by government (or government-owned enterprises) to the public generally or some section of the public.” (Hayne, 2017) Although Mr. Henderson indicated that the stability and predictability of working with government contracting supplied many years of expectable work load, there are many research articles on contract law and plaintiff complaints which indicate otherwise. For example, “When it comes to applying the law of good faith duties to government contracts, the CFC and Federal Circuit are schizophrenic.” (Claybrook Jr., 2014) The Bible tells us that double minded people are unstable in all that they do. (James 1:6-8) Therefore, one should be careful, as nothing is guaranteed when working in contracting with anyone.

Moreover, this information indicates that there should be some objective research on why it is easier or more pilotable for him to work for government contracting companies. “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it-not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it-they will be blessed in what they do.” (James 1:22-25)

A contract is said to be composed or talked assertion, particularly one concerning work, deals, or tenure that is proposed to be enforceable by law. Government contracts are very different from the private sector contracts. They vary widely on how they do their activities to achieve their laid down objectives.
