The National Organization of Women Statement of purpose is a document that was made in 1966 as a part of the women movement that sought to establish women rights and fight for equality. This movement consisted of mostly women and men who supported the idea of equality for all human beings. The group, therefore, fought for equal rights and equal participation of women in the political arena and the government offices.
