The character who I identified for this essay is Steve Jones. Jones is a former serviceman who recently dishonorably discharged by the United States Army due to excessive drinking when he was at his post. Jones had served in the military for close to two decades before he was discharged. Jones is white Caucasian male who is forty-five years old and lives alone after his wife divorced him two years ago. He has two children who live with the mother and a step-father since his wife remarried after their divorce.
