Anemia is a disease where someone has fewer red blood cells in their body than normal or less hemoglobin than usual in every red blood cell. In either case, the patient experiences a reduced amount of oxygen being carried around the body. In this case study, Ms. A, who is 26 years old is likely to be suffering from IDA (Iron Deficiency Anemia) following her given circumstances and preliminary workup which is per the medical decision making. IDA occurs due to deficiency of Iron, B12 as well as Foliate.
