When do you engage in mindless vs. mindful listening? What tips can you provide to help someone be more mindful?

Mindful listening takes place when we focus on other people’s story with a clear mind that is free from any judgment. At the moment, all our ideas, thoughts and assumptions are discarded, and we concentrate the other person. It originates from a state of inner peace. Mindless listening is experienced when instead of focusing on an ongoing conversation, we are judgemental depending on our beliefs, ideas, and thoughts.
