Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking

For the final week, let’s think about how you’ve applied the principles of critical thinking over the past 11 weeks. My guess is that you’ve been able to use some of the principles of effective critical thinking already, so share those examples with the class.

How have you exercised the principles of critical thinking?
Have you been able to better approach challenges at work or in discussions with your friends and family?
Have you been able to better evaluate issues of public policy and current events?
Feel free to share any takeaways from the class.

Critical thinking
It is the ability of people to think clearly and understand the logical connection s between ideas. Critical thinking requires people to use their knowledge of reasoning to get solutions to their challenges (Paul & Elder 2009). Therefore critical thinking needs people to analyze the problem at hand then figure out the best solution.
