Cultural heritage is determined by the kind of languages that the people use to relate to each other. Most of the times people communicate in ways that can only be understood by those of their own backgrounds. South Carolina is one of the most diverse cultures in the US with all the majority and minority groups residing in different areas. There are however immigrants especially those of the Hispanic origin. The population hence has a great challenge when dealing with their medical access in health centers. It is important to consider that although most of the people are linguistically connected through the English language, there are also individuals who do not understand at all (Brown et al., 2016). These should be put into consideration when passing on a message to ensure that every individual benefits from it. The diversity in South Carolina allows for health disparities and probably challenges which might make it impossible for the people to effectively access medical services.
