Development of Persuasive Business Messages

            The success of any business is highly dependent on the ability to encourage customers to accept new products, act on new recommendations or change their old habits. For this reason, there is a need for persuasive business messages to elicit preferred customer response. An effective persuasion strategy utilizes four critical steps. The first step involves the framing of one’s argument. Under this step, the AIDA (Attention-Interest-Desire-Action) model is used to organize the message.

            AIDA entails crafting the message in such a way that it gathers the attention of the customer, build’s interest, creates desire and calls for action as well.
