Developmental trauma
As a counselor, it is important to have resources on hand for a variety of situations and clients. By completing the table below, you will create a job aid that can be used when looking for possible childhood trauma interventions. The interventions listed can either pertain to play therapy or art therapy but should be based in evidence-based practice. A brief explanation of your choices is needed as well identifying developmentally appropriate for the activities (include the ages for the proposed activity). Include a minimum of two peer reviewed scholarly sources not older than 5 years outside of the course materials. Do not just list the activities. Each activity should be between 20-50 words.
